Sports Activity Permits Update 02/16/2010 • 10:35 PM
Sports Activity Permits are required for residents outside of Medina City and Medina Township limits. This is a City ordinance and is a requirement to play on Medina Fields. Sports Activity Permits are on sale now at the MCRC. No registration will be processed without the 2010 SAP if it applies to you.

Personal Checks Returned for Non-Sufficient Funds 03/01/2010 • 12:00 PM
MYBA is a non-profit organization and prefers not to give players fees and sponsor income to banks paying fees for registration checks returned because of insufficient funds. Please be advised that, if a check is returned to MYBA because of NSF status, a request will be made by MYBA to the player's parent to cover the registration fee, as well as the bank fee of $15.00.
The player's registration will be considered incomplete until reimbursement is made and the player may not be allowed to play in MYBA-sanctioned games until then. |

Medina Sting Travel Baseball has been around since 1991, yet many people don't know what we're all about.
Did you know that our alumni comprise the roster of Medina High School's varsity baseball team?
Did you know that our teams compete against the toughest competition Northeast Ohio has to offer?
Did you know that our travel distance is typically 30 minutes drive time to away games?
There are many advantages to playing for the Medina Sting and if you want to hear more, please plan to attend our meeting -

We will show you what the Medina Sting is all about and give you a chance to ask questions about our program.
So, after you drop off your kids for football practice, come on in to hear what we have to say. You'll be surprised and encouraged by what you hear.

Tryouts for 2011 Medina Sting 08/08/2010 • 10:30 AM
Tryouts for the 2011 Medina Sting travel baseball teams will be held on:
August 8th and August 15th 2010
@ Reagan Park fields #4, #5 & #6
Check-in will be at the pavilion.
These tryouts are for ages 8 through 14. The player's League age is determined by his age as of 4/30/11.
If there is enough interest and talent in an age group there might be more than one team.
Prospective players are asked to register on-line. Players may also register in-person on the day of the try-outs.

The below listed timetables are for each age group and each player wishing to tryout is asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to their tryout time to get registered and warmed-up.
Players should bring their baseball glove and bat, and should wear a baseball cap and baseball pants or sweatpants … no shorts please.
It is MYBA's desire to have more than one team in the older age groups so we encourage all players interested to try-out, regardless of the league in which players played in during the 2010 season.
